Bridget is a lovely Irish beauty. She is gentle, likes dogs, is clean and is quiet. She is smaller than most lurchers at about 22 inches to the shoulder. Bridget has been neutered and vaccinated, and of course chipped and wormed and deflead.
Bridgets Foster Mom says….
Fidget has been with us a month now. She is very little trouble. Non destructive and can be left (with other dogs) for several hours. Good on lead (unless she is stressed in a new place then does pull but getting better all the time), shows little interest in wildlife or livestock, and if you have a tennis ball handy then recall will never be a problem! Travelled in car for a couple of hours no problem. Clean, sleeps through the night in her bed in bedroom and gets on well with all types of dogs. What more can any one want!
Today she enjoyed a trip to Newbury ‘All about dogs’ Show . She was a bit stressed out to start with as there were hundreds of people but settled down well and seemed to enjoy meeting all the dogs and getting lots of fuss from people. She was still wary about strange men approaching but fine with women. She was interested in the lure and would have loved a go and is very taken with her new present of a squeaky tennis ball..
We asked Bridgets (aka Fidget) Foster Mommy some questions about her. Here are her answers:
No cats please for this beauty. No children for her either. And a nice quiet home with other dogs for confidence. Further we would like her people to be home with her.
