Finn – Wow
What a stunner this boy is. White rough coated youngster of about 18 months to 2 years. Finn has had an appalling start to his young life and has clearly been mistreated. So we have been taking it slowly, building his confidence and helping heal some of his damaged trust in humans. He is quicker to trust these days but he will still need an understanding and gentle home.
Finn gets worried about meeting new people but can quickly make friends, especially if there is a cocktail sausage involved….
He travels really well in the car and he loves his food, walks and toys. Once he gets to know you he is like a big puppy and does enjoy a belly rub. His play is typical boisterous lurcher play. He would suit a quite active home.
He is strong on the lead and would benefit from some training in this area. He has been loose in the kitchen overnight with the other dogs and after some initial squeaking has been quiet, clean and slept through.
No cats and no children for this lovely young boy.
No urban enviornment as he is very scared of traffic. A rural home would be the ideal for him.
Finn could live with another dog – a calm and confident female dog would be best. Alternatively, if homed as an only dog, he would need his humans home most of the time, or at least humans that will work on his being left on his own.
We feel sad for Finn as he has been waiting for so long, and it isn’t his fault he is fearful – this poor boy desperately wants to find that special someone who will cherish him and show him that the world and people are not as horrible as he has been led to believe. He is a very loving boy to those he knows and trusts.
Can be an only dog if humans around all the time.
Definitely no to cats!
