Happiness is…… a Greyhound called George.
Here is our utterly divine gentleman George! An inspiration to us all!
George was originally surrendered to a pound in Ireland because of a toe injury, and we were very happy to offer him a rescue space.
Here is what his foster Mom has to say about him…
George has been with us only a short time, but he has settled in as good as gold. This boy has a huge heart to give to someone, and he loves to be cuddled up snugly against his human. He always has a waggy tail and big smile.
He sleeps through the night, in our bedroom with his fur siblings, is clean in the house and quiet. No problems with him at all, he takes everything in his gentle stride, including an occasional an telling off from the girls!!(two bitches) Travels well,no food agression,no guarding, learns very quickly.Walks beautifully on the right side,no pulling. He is very happy with a thirty minutes stroll.Just gets excited when he sees other dogs(vocal). He has been left with our other dogs for two hours so far without problems.(crated)He is just a dream dog!!
In the beginning,he has stolen and chewed slippers, cushions and a remote. This is improving a lot,and we have put it down to nerves at being in a new environment.
He is a quick learner, and learnt within minutes to wait quietly for his food until told to eat.He chokes on dry kibble which is distressing to see,but he gobbles raw without difficulty. So wet food or raw.
George sees himself as God’s gift to sofas and will happily show you how to make a sofa look good. He is a first class roacher and an experienced bitey facer, an absolute joy to be around. You just can’t help falling in love with Gorgeous George.
Can be an only dog.
Definitely no to cats!
