Meet Wolf who has come into our care.  His foster Mom says....

Wolf has had a challenging start to life, he was found in a sheep shed after four days of sightings running in a woodland.

He is very worried by new people, yet his love of dogs allowed him to observe and learn that we are offering a safe space in our foster home.

He has grown in confidence each day, building strong trusting relationships with our family.  Wolf has an affectionate and gentle nature with those he trusts, nuzzling hands and shoulders for physical affection.  His cheeky curiosity and playful side has blossomed within our home, hiding the toys in his bed and darting outside to the garden.

Wolf loves the dogs in our home, they offer support out on walks when new people approach by following them as they move past people and their confident reactions to loud noises etc offer him guidance that the world is not ending!

Wolf benefits from walking in quieter areas where distance can be increased when new people approach; in addition to this, Wolf has felt more comfortable being walked on a long line rather than a short fixed lead.  On a short lead Wolf panics as people appear, whilst with the longline he will continue to walk past or wait for them to pass him.

Wolf has been house trained in our care.

In foster in Hampshire.  Wolf will need to be homed with a confident dog. He will be available once neutered and vaccinated.
