Duke

Duke is a sweet 3–4 year old lurcher who has been through an incredibly sad time. He was found in a flat with his owner, who had sadly passed away, and poor Duke had been there for several days before help arrived. With no family willing to take him in, he was signed over to the police and spent some time in kennels.

Despite everything he’s been through, Duke has shown himself to be gentle and loving with people, and so far he hasn’t shown any issues around other dogs. He has already had his first vaccination and will be fully vaccinated and neutered before being ready for his forever home.

Now safe with Lurcher SOS, Duke is being assessed in kennels in Wisbech. This lovely boy has had a heartbreaking start, but we are determined to find him the happy ending he deserves. Could you offer Duke the love and security he needs?
