Eric

Eric has only recently arrived in our care from Ireland.

He stands 26 inches to the shoulder and weighs @23kg.

He is a very clever boy and picks up things very quickly. He is already houstrained and has learned to settle in a crate when required, especially if treats are on offer!

He loves toys and his favorites are tennis balls.

He does like to know where his people are at all times!!!   If one of them is upstairs and one is down, he spends his time looking for both.  When he is walked early morning he is then settled in his crate which stops him getting anxious when his foster dad leaves for work.

His walking has come on really well.   Some walks he was fine on his harness and walked lovely and then the next walk he would be all over the place so his fosterers tried him on a halti and it's like walking a different dog.  He's a dream to walk now, no lunging at dogs or trying to jump up at people. 

He is responding very well to training and relaxing into a home environment.  

He does have a high energy level but once he has had enough exercise he does chill and rest.

We feel that Eric could be an only dog if his people were around most of the time.
