Celebrating 15 Years of Lurcher SOS

Last weekend we brought together our wonderful fosterers, adopters, and extended Lurcher SOS family for a very special reason – to celebrate 15 years of rescuing and rehoming sighthounds.

The afternoon couldn’t have been lovelier – the sun was shining, tails were wagging, and we were treated to an incredible spread of homemade bakes, including sighthound cupcakes, drizzle cake, Tiffin, and even liver cake just for the dogs! A huge thank you to our amazing “Baker Babes” Mary, Angela, and Caroline for such delicious treats. 🧁🐶

Thanks to your generosity with raffle donations, sales, and bids, we raised an amazing £332 – just by eating cake! Every penny goes straight back into helping more hounds in need.

It was a joy to see familiar faces, and to be joined by our patron, Guy Henry, who gave the fundraising efforts an extra boost. Thank you to everyone who came!

To date, Lurcher SOS has found loving homes for 991 hounds – and this celebration was a perfect reminder of how much can be achieved when a community comes together. Here’s to the next chapter in our journey. 💜🐾
