We have some really exciting news to share. Lurcher SOS has partnered with Agria Pet Insurance, and it means something wonderful for every dog who leaves our care and heads to their forever home.
Your new dog comes with free cover from day one.
We know that bringing a new dog home is a joyful, and sometimes nerve-wracking, time. Vet bills are one of those things none of us want to think about, but responsible pet ownership means being prepared for the unexpected. That's why we're so pleased that, as part of your adoption package, every dog adopted from Lurcher SOS now comes with 5 weeks of Agria Free Cover, whatever their age.
This cover provides £5,000 of vet fee cover for the first five weeks, giving you a little breathing space to settle in while knowing your new companion is protected.
When you adopt, we'll share your email address with Agria (with your permission) so they can send your policy details and documents straight to your inbox. That way, everything is on hand right from the start, should you ever need it.
What about after those 5 weeks?
Five weeks is a brilliant head start, but it's really important to make sure your dog has long-term, ongoing pet insurance in place before that cover ends.
When the free cover period is up, you are completely free to take out a policy with whichever insurer you feel is the right fit for you and your dog. There's no pressure and no hard sell from us. What matters most is that your dog is covered.
That said, if you do choose to continue with Agria, we'll receive a commission from your policy, which means you'll be supporting Lurcher SOS simply by insuring your pet. That continues every year you renew too, so it's a lovely way to give something back to the rescue that found your dog their happy ending.
Simply quote our Agria ID number (Our Agria ID is: 204924) when you get your quote, and Agria will make a donation back to Lurcher SOS. This applies when you first take out a policy and every year when you renew. It's one of the simplest ways to support the rescue and help us keep doing what we do.
And it doesn't stop there. You don't have to have adopted from us recently, or even at all, to support the rescue this way. If you're a supporter, a follower, or simply someone who cares about the work we do, you can take out an Agria pet insurance policy for any of your pets and quote our unique ID (Our Agria ID is: 204924) when you do. Agria will pass a commission back to Lurcher SOS, at no extra cost to you, helping us to keep rescuing and rehoming the dogs who need us most.
